ORNAMAAS means to adorn or to decorate in Esperanto language is a luxury art & costume jewellery label .The label epitomises a cosmopolitan woman's lifestyle which is bold & fearless yet rooted traditionally .
OJASVITA AJAY MAHENDDRU is the brainchild behind the label . After graduating from a prestige college , National Institute of Fashion Technology ( NIFT ) and working with two of the most renown brands namely Gitanjali Group and Swarovski , she introduced her own label in 2013 . She has also won the directors special award from the hungarian embassy for depicting motion in the form of art.
Ojasvita is also certified gemologist from IGI ( International Gemology Institute )
ORNAMAAS JEWELS BY OJASVITA AJAY MAHENDDRU incorporates its style keeping in mind the classic Indian beauty who aspires to walk the international runway of success. The designs are inspired from her lifestyle, reflecting the city that she inhabits and works in: urban, culturally diverse, and infused with artistic inspiration from nature making wearable works of art that can transition well and be wardrobe staples.
Working with over 50 Karigars , Ojasvita is known for customising jewelry and hair accessories with the entire ensemble for the client's special occasion and fulfilling customer needs.
The label has been worn by the who’s who of the film industry and has been featured in shows like Im Too Sexy For My Shoes worn by Ambika Anand and styled by Mohan Neelkanthan , Making the Kingfisher Calendar 2014 on Karuna Parekh , on Actress and singer Mansi Scott for the show Ticket to Bollywood, it has also been worn by Vj Juhi for A Whole New World NDTV Goodtimes. It has also been featured on Band Baaja Bride with Sabyasachi in association with Carma Online season finale 2016 .The above have been paired with Shivan and Naresh , Namrata Joshipura, Satya Paul , Pankaj and Nidhi, Nachiket Barwe and with brands like Zara, Marks & Spencer nd many more.
